The Little Cabin

A historic cove-side log cabin.
Step into the mudroom, where you will find a bench to take shoes off and hooks to hang personal belongings. As you leave the mudroom, you will enter the full kitchen with a stainless steel fridge and a stainless electric range and oven. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, cups, bowls, and eating utensils. The kitchen also comes equipped with a coffee pot, microwave, and toaster. Exiting the kitchen, you will be welcomed by a comfy living room dining combo. The living room has a cozy electric fireplace, smart TV, queen-size futon, futon chair that makes a toddler bed, and a side table with a checkerboard with game pieces inside the drawer. Keep occupied with the board games and cards. Off of the living room, you will find the full bathroom furnished with soap and shampoo. As you make your way up the steps, please keep in mind that this is an old cabin, and the stairs are slightly steep and narrow. Please be sure to use caution. On the second level, you will find a comfy queen bed in the main bedroom and the bunk room with full-size bed on top and bottom. Bedrooms come furnished with pillows, blackout blinds, and white noise machines to help block out the road noise since we are conveniently located near the interstate. When you make your way back downstairs and through the living room, you will step out onto the relaxing back porch with outdoor seating and an eating area overlooking the lake cove. In the yard, you will find a cozy fire pit area. As you make your way to the bottom of the yard, you will find a dock to park your lake toys!

Please note that the rental does not come with bed linens or towels! Bed Linen Package can be added for extra convenience - just select the Bed Linen Package when reserving! However, you will still need to bring towels.

Also, know that the lake level fluctuates in the fall, winter, and spring. As shown in the pictures.

Please know that we have a motion sensor outdoor security camera that observes the driveway and front door 24/7. The camera doesn’t observe any gathering area or sitting area. It is in place to help keep our team members notified of departures and arrivals and ensure no one is parked in the driveway blocking your parking spot. We have access to the cameras at all times.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-six percent (96.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 5 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 5 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
